Thank you for registering at Flats On D Apartments.

Welcome to Sea Level; All About Boston’s Seaport District

Welcome to Flats on D! I’m Alissa, your devoted and loving property manager!

Sea Level is dedicated to bringing you weekly updates including everything you want to know about our growing community.

Construction is moving along quickly and beginning April 1 you will be able to take the first look inside! It is taking much restraint on my part not to take people on tours tomorrow, but I can guarantee you it’s going to be worth the wait. I’ve been visiting the building almost every other day to watch the progress and as cliché as this is, it really does keep getting better!

The countertops, cabinets, floors and lighting are complete. Just waiting on appliances, some windows here and there, and then it’s onto the hallways and common areas. Fingers crossed we’ll be ready to move our first residents into their new homes in early May (maybe sooner).

It is so exciting to see D Street coming to life! There is so much growth going on around us and we are thrilled to be right in the middle. Did you know that Flats on D is going to have retail? I can’t release the details just yet, but I think you’re really going to like your first floor neighbors. All five of them to be exact. Stay Tuned!

Our Flats on D team is almost complete and we cannot wait to meet YOU. The Starbucks Machines for the lobbies have been ordered, the roof decks are right on schedule, and the gyms are just waiting for someone to use them. Yes, you read that right, we have a Starbucks machine, roof deck, lobby, and gym in each building. Flats on D was built to the Human Scale. We wanted to make living as convenient and as simple as possible for our residents. We can’t wait to see what you think!

There are two kinds of people. Those that eat to live and those that live to eat. I am proud to be part of the latter. Pretty much any weekend you can find me trying out a new restaurant in search of my new favorite dish. No one should waste time eating bad food, so I’m happy to help point you in the right direction.

This week’s pick is Blue Dragon in Fort Point. The best part about this one is it’s only a 10 minute walk from Flats on D… how convenient. =) The bartenders are fantastic mixing up a delicious array of craft cocktails. The food was nothing short of incredible and we even got to chat with the chef, Ming Tsai for a few minutes.

Blue Dragon offers one dessert, “The Cookie” (Image courtesy of Very unassuming name, I know, but do yourself a favor and order dessert, even if that’s all you get. It is simply impossible to effectively describe the experience that is “The Cookie” so just trust me on this one and order it. You will leave very happy (and probably very full).

Until next week, stay warm out there and let’s all keep our fingers crossed that Spring is almost here. Cheers!
