Celebrate America’s birthday with the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. The concert on the Hatch Shell ((Boston Esplanade)) plays American favorites such as the National Anthemn and the 1812 Overture and helps celebrate American Independence is red, white and blue fashion! And the ending is the best part…dazzling fireworks over the Charles River. POP!!
–July 4th– Fireworks Galore
Claim your seat along the Charles early to get a great view of the annual fireworks that set off between the Longfellow and Mass Ave Bridges! And public transportation is the way to go…subways and most bus lines will run until 2:30am Saturday night!

–Starting July 22nd– Shakespeare on the Common 2015
One of the most popular summer Boston events, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company presents King Lear, one of the Bard’s most famous tragedies. Bring a blanket or low folding chair, perhaps a picnic basket, and get ready to enjoy a magical evening of free theater under the stars.
–July 25th and 26th– Summer Arts Weekend Boston 2015
Free concerts throughout the days feature jazz, classical, folk, and Americana music – look for a star-studded mix of performers. At night, musicians move indoors to restaurants and bars, which will offer specials and deals. Add in theater performances, local artists, street performers, food trucks, and food vendor in and around the square – Copley Square is where you’ll want to be this weekend.
-July brings beach weather to New England so don’t be afraid to visit a nearby Boston beach, book a cruise out to Boston Harbor Island ((or simply around the harbor)) or see some marine wildlife on a whale watching tour.
Kick summer off right and check out some, if not all of these great Boston Happenings!!!
