During the summer, the area around Flat On D hosts a variety of events that celebrate the best in local wine and beer. From wine tastings to beer festivals, there’s a little something for everyone (of legal drinking age) to enjoy.
SoWa Boston Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
Food Truck Festivals of America is bringing their festival to Flats On D. Over 20 of the most popular local food trucks will dish out fan favorites, as well as 50+ national craft beers will be available to wash the grub done. The brews are still TBD.
Boston Seafood Festival
While not exclusively a wine or beer event, the Boston Seafood Festival offers a variety of beer and wine options to go with its seafood offerings. Held annually in August at the Boston Fish Pier, the festival celebrates the best in local seafood with cooking demonstrations, oyster shucking contests, and a variety of food vendors. The event also offers a beer garden and wine tastings, allowing attendees to enjoy a refreshing beverage while taking in the sights and sounds around Devonshire.
Total Wine & More
Join a bunch of winos to sample outstanding wines from the Old World, including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and more. A sommelier will take guests through a tour of Old World’s native grapes and long winemaking traditions.
Boston Jerk Fest
This family-friendly Caribbean-inspired festival offers two days of fun in the sun, featuring Jamaican jerk spiced foods and plenty of brews. The festival’s slogan is “Eat, Drink, and Be Irie!”
